What’s included in a standard pool opening

Inclusions can vary slightly by pool type and equipment, but the standard opening covers the core items below.

Startup chemistry

Apply initial startup chemicals to begin stabilizing water for the season.

Plugs, gauges, fittings

Replace plugs and reinstall key fittings such as sight glass and pressure gauge (as applicable).

Return lines and eyeballs

Unplug return lines and reinstall eyeballs so circulation can resume properly.

Gizmos and baskets

Remove winter gizmos and reinstall baskets so the system is ready to run.

Winterization fluid removal

Remove antifreeze from return, suction, and main drain lines (as applicable).

Clear next steps

We leave you with a practical path for clearing water and dialing in weekly balance.
